Our proprietary biomass digestor, known as the Winnie System, aims to maximize the efficiency of organic solids digestion by providing customers the opportunity to implement both a physical and biological digestion of their biomass solids.
Currently we offer two versions of the Winnie System: The Gen II Batch System (G2S) and Gen III Continuous System (G3S). How these systems function and their benefits for you are described below. Feel free to email or call us for any questions you have, and we'd love to have a conversation about how we can help why choosing Barn~Grown will help you Change for Good.

System Setup is simple and easy, with a minimal footprint and infrastructure required:
Additionally, the system includes a proprietary designed control panel and utilizes remote telemetry for 24/7 monitoring, enabling us to constantly monitor performance and respond quickly in the event of an issue.
Once the infrastructure is in place, the system is ready to be run.
The rate of digestion and processing can be calculated and tailored to the time frame that best fits each customer.

The Winnie solution produced by the system offers customers the opportunity to add a biological digestion and compound the digestion of solids. The Winnie recirculated into the biomass results in digestion of methane, ammonia, and other VOC producing bacteria and are replaced by carbon-dioxide from the probiotics.
Alternatively, customers may choose to apply the liquid solution to crops and fields as ReGen Soil Conditioner.

The use of the Winnie System offers significant benefits to customers:
We are Community Focused and Value Drive. Our goal is to not only have customers, but to to act as a partner for our customers resulting in viable and sustainable financial and agricultural practices.

Crouch Dairy in Dublin, TX, allowed us to test the effectiveness of the Gen I Winnie System on a medium sized lagoon for a 9-month period.

Sludge Judge results prior to Winnie System running showed 2.4M gallons of sludge and liquid content, with approximately 76% of the total lagoon being made up of biomass sludge.

After 7 months of running the Winnie System, Sludge Judge results revealed a 47% reduction in biomass sludge.

At the end of the 9-month testing period, a third Sludge Judge was completed and showed a 60% reduction in biomass sludge. This significantly reduced methane production of the lagoon and proved out that the Winnie System is a real-world solution for biomass management.

This will vary by State and Local permitting requirements. We will work with you to evaluate those requirements, and obtain the permits if required.
We completed our initial R&D by partnering with dairy farms located in Central Texas and are in the process of installing a permanent system in Northwest Washington state.
No. The digestor and liquid solutions can be used for biomass digestion in septic applications, food waste, chicken manure, and almost any other biomass application requiring digestion and handling.
